About these terms

Hack Dearborn: Conjure Reality is a free, in-person student hackathon held on October 3 to 4, 2026, at the University Center, University of Michigan-Dearborn. It is run by students of the Google Developer Group on Campus at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and it is a Major League Hacking (MLH) member event for the 2027 season.

These terms cover applying, taking part in the event, and using this website and the Hack Dearborn app. By doing any of those, you agree to them.

Who can attend

Hack Dearborn is open to currently enrolled college students and to anyone who graduated within the past year, especially beginners, and all majors are welcome. Participants must be 18 or older at the time of the event. The event is exclusively in person: there is no virtual option. Because this is an MLH member event, participants must also meet MLH’s eligibility rules.

To take part, fill out the application on this site. We will send you an email confirmation.

Participant agreement

The application form has a participant agreement box. Ticking it means you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.

Conduct

Everyone at Hack Dearborn, including hackers, mentors, judges, sponsors, volunteers and organisers, agrees to follow the MLH Code of Conduct. Participants also agree to the MLH Contest Terms and Conditions and the MLH Privacy Policy, as set out in the application form.

Teams, judging and prizes

• Teams can have up to four members. You can bring your friends, or meet other hackers at the event and form a team there.
• Projects are demoed at the event, and prizes go to the winning teams.
• The main prizes and the track prizes are the ones listed on this site. They may change before the event.

Using the Hack Dearborn app

• One account per person.
• Do not share your account with anyone else.
• Do not try to access another person’s or another team’s data.
• Do not disrupt the service or try to stop others from using it.

Changes

The event, the schedule, the prizes and these pages may change. When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.

Taking part at your own risk

You take part in Hack Dearborn at your own risk. The organisers are students, and the event, this website and the app are provided as is, without guarantees, to the extent the law allows.
